In order to use Google Drive, you will need to ensure that you have a Google Account.
Google Accounts are free to sign up for, and you also receive a Gmail account.
You will need to use your Gmail address in order to access Google Drive.
If you already have a Gmail account, then you have a Google account and can set this up quickly.

There are so many features of Google Drive that I love.

This is part of your Google Account. Google Docs is a word processor application that is web-based.
You can create documents, spreadsheets and slides using Google Docs and can access these from any computer that has an internet connection.
This gives you the ability to work anywhere and at any time.
You can use it anytime and anywhere online and offline.
You can activate this option in Settings, and it will sync any work that you do offline to your Google Drive once you access the internet again.
Download this extension to make it easy to save pictures, content, images to your Google Drive by a simple right-click..
If you love a good shortcut – Google Drive has a big list of shortcuts that you can use to help you streamline your activities.
You can always display the list by pressing Shift + / or Ctrl + / on Chrome OS or Windows, or ⌘ + / on a Mac.
Or, click the gear icon in the upper left hand corner of your screen and choose “Keyboard Shortcuts” from the dropdown menu.

You can create forms to help you collect data e.g. from a survey.
The data that is collated is that automatically collated and put into a spreadsheet.
To create a form, simply click on “Create” and select “Form”
MindMeister is a Google Chrome App lets you create mind maps right on your web browser.
You can then save it in your Google Drive, allowing you to view and edit whenever you like
Instead of holding it on your website which can slow down your site, you can just share a link.
You can share a Doc with anyone by just giving them the link.
Click the “Share” button then click the “Get Shareable Link” button and simply copy and paste the link provided.
You can use the voice typing feature to dictate your document.
This is a great tool for talking out loud and brainstorming your ideas and Google will auto-populate for you.
It is a little bit buggy but it does the trick.
