Good habits can lead to increased productivity and happiness, which in turn will lead to increased growth.

According to Miriam-Webster Dictionary, a habit is a behaviour pattern that is acquired by frequent repetition or physiologic repetition exposure that shows itself in regularity or increased facility of performance.
In simple terms, a habit is an action that you do, most of the time subconsciously.
Habits are often learnt behaviours, which means that they can be changed or adapted.
Good habits are formed through routines.
Repeating the habit is how habits are formed.
There is a three step process to forming a good habit. The process is:-
1 – There is usually a trigger or a cue that tells the brain that the action needs to occur.
2 – The second step in the process is the actual action or behaviour itself.
3 – The final step is the reward, celebration or recognition after the action has occurred. This makes the brain feel good, and then it remembers the trigger and action for the next time.
When forming a good habit, there are some simple steps that you can follow:-
1 – Start small
2 – Focus on one new small habit at a time
3 – Commit to the new habit for a minimum of 30 days
4 – Have a back-up plan for when there are obstacles or things in place that prevent you from completing your habit.
5 – Have an accountability partner so that someone can keep you on track
6 – Reward yourself for reaching 30 days.
We all have bad habits. Some tips to try and help kick those bad habits include:-
1 – Understand the bad habit, what triggers it and why you do it.
2 – Remove any temptations that you have that leads to the bad habit.
3 – Make the habit unpleasant.
4 – Replace the bad habit with a good habit.
5 – Be aware of situations that make lead to your bad habit occurring.
6 – Hold yourself accountable.
7 – Reward yourself for not falling into the bad habit.
1 – Get up at the same time each day.
2 – Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day.
3 – Get at least 8 hours sleep per night.
4 – Develop goals and objectives for yourself and your business.
